Preparation: Apple oatmeal cake
(Package contents: 400g baking mix, 110g tonka glaze mix)
You will also need: 100g soft butter or margarine, 150g whole egg (approx. 3 eggs size M), 75ml milk (1.5% fat), 1 large apple (approx. 200g); for the glaze: 20ml water (approx. 26°C)
Preheat the oven to 170°C top/bottom heat. Peel and roughly grate the apple. Put the baking mix, eggs, butter or margarine and milk into a mixing bowl and mix with an electric hand mixer or in a food processor, first briefly on low speed and then on the highest speed for 3 minutes until creamy. Then fold in the grated apple. Spread the mixture in a greased and floured loaf tin (approx. 25cm) and place in the oven. After 15 minutes baking time, cut the cake lengthwise 1cm deep and then finish baking for approx. 40 minutes.
For preparation in the bread & cake baking machine, put the eggs, butter or margarine and milk into the baking tin and the baking mixture on top. Select PROGRAM 17 and start the programme. After 18 min. you will hear a signal tone. Then add the grated apple. (https://shop.cake-masters.com/bakery)
Before applying the icing, allow the cake to cool completely. Stir the icing mix with the water until smooth and spread it on the cake with a palette or knife.
